IPS Comsec Safe – GSA Approved Class 5 Containers

GSA approved IPS COMSEC containers provide a secure closed door environment for your computer equipment. All standard offerings are equipped with fans and filtration for circulating room air to cool electronic equipment while cabinet doors are closed.

IPS Standard Features

  • Two fans located in cabinet to evacuate the interior air.
  • Filter is required for proper air filtration. Filter is included.
  • Cable entry box equipped with six 1/2" diameter openings for power and
    signal input cables into container.
  • Unit is equipped with your choice of 19" or 24" ETA vertical rack mounts

Class 5 Protection Level

U.S. Government class 5 IPS security cabinet, tested and approved under Federal Specification AA-C-2786. Cabinet provides the following protection:

  • 30 man - minutes against covert entry
  • 20 man - hours against surreptitious entry
  • 10 man - minutes against forced entry

Lock Specification

Unit is equipped with X-10 lock.
Meets Federal Specification FF-L-2740
