Hublot and Ferrari have newly formed an exclusive partnership and their first collaboration is the Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari. This limited edition timepiece coincides with, and celebrates, the 20 year anniversary of the very first Ferrari sold in China. As such, it was recently unveiled in China and only 20 of these Ferrari branded Hublot timepieces will go to lucky collectors.
The all carbon case is a robust 44mm wide and sports a sapphire crystal with red tint to lend a unique look and represent the iconic color of the Italian supercar manufacturer. To further represent Ferrari, the famous prancing horse logo adorns the chronograph minute counter and more Ferrari red accents are found on the counter dial hand and stitching of the leather crocodile strap.
The engine of this beautifully crafted Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari is the HUB 6300 movement with clutch tourbillion escapement. The mechanism is made of 260 components, of which 35 are precious jewels. The back of each case receives red lettering commemorating the 20th anniversary of Ferrari in China and the individual watch’s unit number.
The price of these limited edition Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari timepieces are unknown as of yet, but inside sources this is just the first in what should prove to be many more collaborations for 2012.
